Blocked drain causing surface water across road when raining
Reported via mobile in the Blocked drain: Blockage inside drain category anonymously at 11:01, Saturday 17 January 2026
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 8707465.
As mentioned in earlier report, there appears to be a blockage between these 2 drains. As a result the continuous flow of spring water coming through the system keeps the blocked drain full, and causes a stream of water across the road in wet weather. With current freezing temperatures, this will just cause damage to the new road surface, (which took years to be surfaced), and potential dangerous ice.
