Curb too high for my wheelchair making it dangerous for me to get home (Walcot Parade)

Reported via mobile in the Dangerous road surface (including ice, mud, spillage or debris) category anonymously at 08:36, Thursday 5 February 2026

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 8842570.

Hello, apologies if this is not the right section. I live on Walcot Parade, and there's no dropped curb on the side of the pavement closest to TR Hayes at the bottom. I have to cross the road here to get home, and during busy periods I am forced to either get our of my chair to get it over the curb (and I have a risk of falling, don't want to do that into a main road!), or wheel up on the road to get to the higher blocked curb, which is dangerous for cars cominf down, and the dropped curb at the top is often blocked by cars due to where the parking is.

I understand if it's not feasible, but is there any way the curb could be dropped/lowered?
