Badman Close new street light extremely bright and tall, harming properties behind it
Reported via mobile in the Street light fault category anonymously at 09:23, Wednesday
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 9042381.
Dear Council,
A resident of 2 Tennis Court Mews here. Any chance you could slightly alter the light at the end of Badman Close to improve lives?
The new light is taller and brighter than what was previously there, shining right into our lounges and bedrooms all night.
We have a lot of wildlife that traverses our gardens (badgers, foxes, hedgehogs) and the bright light could be disruptive to their nighttime activities.
Please would you kindly cover the back of it, facing onto the gardens of 1 and 2 Tennis Court Mews? This should be inexpensive, and will not affect the light across Badman, but would be transformative for us and the animals.
Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Raeburn

We are sorry you are experiencing issues with this new light.
We've looked into this and found that it is owned by another organisation, in this case Curo Housing
We are sorry we cannot help directly but trust if you report this issue to Curo they will be able to help.
We have attached a map for reference which shows the Curo lights in Grey. I think the light in question is numbered. XBC6. We hope this helps.
