Car parking on the wrong place which blocked our driveway

Reported via desktop in the Park safety issue category anonymously at 17:40, Saturday 7 March 2026

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 9064794.

Dear Sir and Madam,

I have an issue in my area (Hygge Park), a man living in Hygge Park has two parking spaces in front of his house, but he doesn't park his car there; he parks his blue car in front of my house door and blocks other residents' driveways over 6 months

We talked to him, but he ignored it and still keeps parking there. I am sure you can post it in Keynsham Voice. I emailed the council for over two months, but no one replied. This affects our daily life. Hope you can help. Many thanks.

I've attached the pictures to show you, thanks

The blue car owner living at 33 Palm Road BS31 1GH, as Palm Road is a one-way road, which is not wide, after he parked on Palm Road, everyone needed to crash into his blue car, which is quite annoying.

He blocked the house 22 main door, and blocked the house 39 Palm Road driveways as well. When our car comes out of 39 Palm Road, we need to reverse the car a few times to leave. When we come back, we also need to reverse a few times to go back to our driveways.

As his park on the wrong place, other visitors think that's a correct parking bay, so it makes more cars park in front of him during the day. Actually, around the corner of House 31 Palm Road, where have some parking bays, but he doesn't park in the parking bay.

I hope you can post this issue in Keynsham Voice to show it makes other inconveniences and where there is not a parking bay.

Sorry to bother you so much, and many thanks

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Many thanks Mrs Yip
