Badly managed racecourse traffic

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 9242272.

The management of parking for the Easter Sunday races at Bath Racecourse has resulted in a huge queue all the way back to tog hill. Once we finally got to the racecourse (to go past and go home - we are local residents!), you could see that the problem was that the racecourse’s parking management - the queue continued down the racecourse drive so clearly they weren’t getting cars parked efficiently and quickly enough. This isn’t acceptable - please contact the racecourse and stipulate that next year’s event must have much better parking management, it’s not acceptable to have this impact on the local (and wider) road network.
