Sewerage works causing pavement and wall damage
Reported via mobile in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 19:20, Sunday 5 April 2026
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 9243425.
I am writing to report an issue concerning recent roadworks carried out on my street, which appear to have been left in an uneven condition.
Since the works were completed, vehicles driving over the affected section of road cause significant vibration. Each time a car passes, the impact is strong enough that the interior of my house noticeably shakes. This has become a frequent disturbance and is a growing concern.
In addition, there is visible damage to my property wall as well as to the adjacent public pavement, which I believe has been caused by the uneven surface and the repeated force of vehicles passing over it.
I would appreciate it if the council could arrange for an inspection of the road surface and assess the damage caused. I also request that any necessary repairs be carried out as soon as possible to prevent further deterioration and ensure safety.
