My 82 year old disabled, and blind resident needs a wheelchair and walking frame to safely transfer to his wife's car. They are scared that he could fall when trying to do this and injure himself, his wife, they would not be able to get him off the ground. The reason for this is the poor, uneven condition of the verge, path and road outside their house. This has uneven surface and is often muddy and slippery, and means the wheel chair sometimes has to be pushed through a puddle, and my resident step into the puddle when transferring via his walker to the car.
