Front of 14 Portland place

Reported via desktop in the Dangerous road surface (including ice, mud, spillage or debris) category by alan green at 10:42, Wednesday 8 April 2026

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 9256580.

The stone kerb surrounding the metal rainwater run-off has worn away, exposing sharp corners in the metal drain rain off which project into the road; it is very dangerous to leave in such state especially if an elderly person or young child trips and falls onto the sharp metal corners. Luckily it was my tyre that brought it to my attention unfortunately I have had to replace the tyre. I would suggest the issue has been present and is gradually worsening as the stone continues to be worn back.
