Trees overhanging path below head height on path by A37 from Temple Cloud to Clutton

Reported via mobile in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 13:53, Friday 1 May 2026

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 9385427.

The foot path alongside the A37 from Temple Cloud to Clutton is half blocked with weeds and also has overhanging branches from trees, now below head height. This issue was reported last year by myself and nothing has been done about it. It is the main pedestrian walkway between Clutton and Temple Cloud and the road is heavily used with heavy goods vehicles at a 40mph limit. Many exceed this limit. The path is not wide enough for two people to pass each other safely in some places. There is no safe place to cross at the Clutton end and the path issues are pushing pedestrians into the road.
