There are 3 signs in close proximity which obscures the third sign which is the 20 mph sign

Reported via desktop in the Road sign damage category anonymously at 14:41, Wednesday 6 May 2026

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 9409339.

Vehicles speed along this road, the overhanging vegetation means that high sided vehicles are in the middle of the road which is dangerous. Drivers are not able to see the 20mph sign as there are 2 signs immediately in front. The 2 signs are inappropriately sited as both the Recreation Car Park and the Children's playground are further down the road and both signs are rusting and dekipadated. Also 2 signs are not needed as one saying Recreation Ground and Childrens's Playground would be enough. There was a recent casualty of a much loved family cat in this spot but lots of children cross the road here to access the recreation ground and playground. My main concern however is that drivers are unaware of the speed limit because the sign is obscured. Lots of farm vehicles and high sided vehicles use the road and often take overhanging branches with them.
