Weeds obstructing pavement

Reported via desktop in the Removal of Weeds category anonymously at 14:25, Monday 18 May 2026

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 9470719.

These weeds are growing across the pavement which is causing pedestrians to walk near the edge .As this is adjacent to the very busy A39 it is becoming dangerous to walk along this pavement especially considering that many of the large HGVs and cars are also speeding very close to pedestrians .I appreciate that the hedge which is also beginning to obscure the pavement cannot be cut until nesting season has finished but the weeds can so please can this be done as soon as possible.

  • The weeds are now obstructing the pavement even more. It’s now extremely dangerous for anyone walking along the pavement which runs alongside the very busy A39 as pedestrians are forced to walk right at the edge of pavement with traffic which includes large HGVs driving very close to them.
