Communal grass not cut back sufficiently

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 17:44, Tuesday 19 May 2026

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 9478019.

They have 'strimmed' the edges of the grassed areas in Leigh Close today, however they did such a narrow strip that it had made little or no difference to the overgrown grass. We haven't even had it cut back completely this year yet and it is unsightly and becomes a litter attracter. In previous years it has been cut back completely at thd beginning and end of the season. It looks a mess and encroaches on the paths with the grass cuttings encouraging miss to grow on the paths and make them slippery.
