From the bottom of Avondale Road from the Basil Bakery along the lock footpath is overgrown

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 22:23, Wednesday 27 May 2026

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 9517192.

This narrow footpath is much used and is very overgrown with nettles, bramble and long grass from the bakery to almost the end of the lock towards the Bristol direction making it almost impossible to pass anyone without getting scratches or nettle stings. Thank you

Updates

  • Please strim this area as it is now much worse- brambles at ankle level much longer and more nettles. It is impossible for someone to push a buggy along this stretch as a child will be scratched or stung so please expediate this report. Many thanks
