The path is completely obstructed by overgrown weeds including a number of stinging nettles and brambles, causing harm to the public. This path is often used by school children and commuters, many of whom are now choosing to use private vehicles for their short journeys due to the paths inaccessibility - going against the councils current aims to reduce car use in the city.
