Severe road-surface failure, deep potholes and loose rubble concentrated at the bottom of Teddington Close, with additional potholes further up the road.

The road surface at the lower end of Teddington Close has deteriorated extensively and has been in this condition for at least two years. There are potholes further up the road, but the most severe and widespread damage is concentrated at the bottom.
The affected area contains numerous potholes, some several inches deep, together with broken surfacing, loose aggregate, scree and rubble. The form only allows three photographs, but there are considerably more potholes and damaged areas than can be shown in the available images.
As Teddington Close slopes downhill, loose stones and broken road material are being carried down and accumulating in the most badly damaged section at the bottom. This creates an additional skid and loss-of-control hazard.
Children and cyclists have skidded on the loose material and injured themselves. Vehicle damage has also occurred because of the depth and number of potholes. The road is used by children, older residents, pedestrians and cyclists, and the combination of deep potholes and loose debris presents an ongoing risk of falls, skidding, tyre and wheel damage, and further injury. The danger is increased in wet weather and poor light, when the defects are harder to see.
Please inspect the lower section of Teddington Close as an area of substantial carriageway failure, while also assessing the potholes further up the road. The damaged section should be considered for resurfacing or structural carriageway maintenance rather than only isolated pothole patching. The accumulated loose rubble and scree at the bottom also need to be cleared as a safety measure.

This is a significant pot hole at the bottom of the road which is made worse by heavy rain and constant large vehicles driving over it.
It needs to be fixed before damages a vehicle or worse injuries someone.

These potholes are outside 17-21 Teddington Close and are a danger to all, especially as there is no street lighting in this area.
