Reported via desktop in the Flooding of a road or pavement category anonymously at 12:46, Wednesday 8 July 2026
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 9753918.
22nd June downpour caused run off from main road to come over pavement and come down garden path blocked the drain and cause water ingress into kitchen, I was stuck outside trying to bail water away from back door. Also front door let in some water as the amount of water came up over the pavement. This has happened often since the resurfacing of the A37 which has made the camber of the road all come to. One side of the road the drains back up and can’t cope, Every time there is severe rain I have to go out to try and unblock the drains. Please can someone come and talk to me about what can be done, I have videos which show the speed and amount of water but can’t load them here. The situation is getting worse and was not an issue in the past and so needs to be sorted out.
